My name is Stacy Kelsey I was born in California, but grew up right here in Eastern Idaho.
I love where I live; there are so many different things
to do. We have the mountains, the water and the snow.
I am married to my soul mate my husband Lance. We have
one daughter Kylie who will be graduation high school this
year then leaving for the military. I have been involved in
the motocross world for most of my life. My husband and
I have had a great life traveling and racing. We love what
we do; this life has brought us many friends that will be
lifelong friends. I have been also involved in the Eastern
Idaho Motorcycle Association for many years now. I have
been an officer many times in the organization and have
enjoyed every part of it. For many years it was always a
great boost to me when we would be at a track and one of
the racers would come up to me and ask "does my chain
look ok to you?" or "do you have a sandwich?" no matter
what I am always there, not just for my husband but, for
all the racers and the fans! This series of books came at
the right time in my life and I knew I could do this just from the fact we have done all the things that I am writing about. Yes I can oil and change an air filter! Yes I can tell you how your riding was that day. Some people may not understand that since I do not ride myself but you know I am and always will be your biggest supporter and fan! I hope you enjoy the missions Sproket the Moto Dog takes you on. I know that the love and support from my husband and his 30 plus years of racing have helped make this journey what it is and I have enjoyed every minute of it!!!

We are the Kelsey's Lance Stacy and Kylie, from Idaho Falls, Idaho. It has been a blessing to grow up in such a wonderful part of the world. There are endless
areas to ride dirt bikes, snowmobiles, go
boating or just go camping in our great
outdoors! Lance first rode a motorcycle in
1969. He was 7 years old. Santa left it
under the Christmas tree for him and his
brother. This was the best present the boys
could have received. That motorcycle changed
the course of Lance´s life. He was hooked
on riding. Lance raced his first motocross
race in 1977 and some 30 plus years later
he is still racing! Lance has won approximately
15 pro titles in Idaho over the many years.
In the years we have been racing, the sport
has taken us to most of the western states
including California, Oklahoma and Alaska.
Lance has had the opportunity to line up with some of the all time greats like Hannah, Cooper, Laporte, Healey, O´mara and many more. Now motocross to us is a family affair, In 2007 Kylie won her first title in the Women's B class in her first year of racing! So at this point it is still a lifelong passion for us. Yes, we only own 12 motorcycles!!!! Lance is only going to race select races and enjoy family fun rides. With Stacy writing her books and following one of her goals it is all fitting together! We hope one day to travel and promote the books and do all this full time! Sproket the Moto Dog has come out of our passion for this sport and our many years of riding and racing, and enjoying all the race families that we have met over the many years.
